Since the 1950s, bassists of all generations have been influenced by the classic lines of the Eko PB300. The PB300's 21-fret maple neck and passive electronics, which include a precise-sounding single P-type pickup, provide comfort and versatility that will excite any bassist embarking on a musical journey.

Timeless lines rendered with precision.

It is unnecessary to introduce the classic silhouette that served as the inspiration for the PB300's design: the distinctive double cutaway for superior access to the last fret, paired with a single pickup and a 4-bridge bridge/tailpiece block, create an instantly identifiable visual trademark. Italian maker Eko has adapted this vintage design to create the PB300, an electric bass that is visually appealing, ergonomic due to its balanced weight and amiable curves, and most importantly, incredibly flexible.

Quality lutherie.

The PB300's lutherie has gotten the most attention despite its extremely low price point in order to provide bassists who are unfamiliar with the instrument with a beautiful, well-finished bass. A high-gloss lacquer highlights the body, which is made of poplar for strength. The Eko resin WPC (Wood Polymers Composites) fingerboard adds stability and warmth to the comfortable, robust, 4-point fastened maple neck.

A versatile configuration.

Regarding the electronics, the PB300 has a single-coil P-type pickup, which is well-liked for its accuracy and adaptability. It works well for clean sounds, but when mixed with strong distortion, it may also sound highly abrasive and percussion-like. A general tone control lets you change the timbre for more or less brilliance, which expands the range of possible sounds. The bridge/tailpiece block incorporates independently adjustable saddles to fine-tune the action and harmonics of each string and ensure effective sustain.
