A 5-watt tube guitar amplifier head, the Hiwatt Hi-5 produces vintage British tones in a small, multipurpose package. Players may alternate between dazzling cleans and rich overdriven tones thanks to its twin channels, Clean and Overdrive. While the overdrive channel provides a range from ferocious growl to silky breakup, the clean channel is renowned for its punch and clarity.The Hi-5 offers sensitive dynamics and rich harmonic content thanks to its ECC83 preamp tube and EL84 output tube. Its control panel has switches for power, standby, and channel selection, as well as separate volume controls for each channel and a shared 2-band EQ.
