Diamond tube amps delivered strong British overdrive tones full of harmonics and compression in addition to the clean and crunchy sounds that made them famous worldwide during the British Invasion with The Beatles or The Rolling Stones! Later, famed guitarist Brian May of the band Queen helped to develop the reputation of these iconic amps by adding the Top increase circuit to increase high frequencies and further saturate the signal! But be careful with your ears—the amps have to be pushed to their absolute maximum in order to get that unique saturated, compressed sound. You may play your amp at lower volumes and replicate similar analogue tones with the Nux Diamond 63 overdrive.
Simple but effective settings!
Three potentiometers allow you to adjust the sound to your taste and discover all the subtleties of this amazing pedal! You may change the overall effect loudness and preamp saturation using the master and volume knobs. By gradually cutting off high frequencies, the Cut knob lets you manipulate the sound. Ultimately, the renowned high-frequency boost circuit is turned on by the Top Boost switch, which beautifully harmonically saturates and compresses the signal! The pedal may be turned on or off using the footswitch; it is true-bypass to protect your incoming signal.
